“The Closet Distance” between two people who don’t know each other, is a story. Storytelling has been utilized throughout human history to make connections and pass on traditions between community members. The strength of a cohesive neighborhood is empathy, compassion, and communication. Therefore, the ultimate goal of this residency is to build a strong & diverse connection with the individuals that make up the community.
